Leading Hotels of the World is a collection of independent luxury hotels, resorts and palaces around the world.

Unlike a traditional hotel chain, LHW properties are individually owned and operated. That means each hotel has its own style, setting and personality, from grand city hotels and historic European palaces to beach resorts, mountain retreats and island hideaways.

This is why LHW can be a good fit for travelers who want something more individual than a standard branded hotel. It also means the booking route is worth checking carefully, because room categories, benefits, rates and service style can vary a lot from one property to another.
