How does Jumeirah Passport to Luxury compare to Virtuoso or Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts (FHR)?

Passport to Luxury is Jumeirah’s direct internal preferred program. Because reservations are managed and prioritised directly by Jumeirah’s internal sales directors and hotel general managers, Passport to Luxury guests take precedence over third-party channels (including Virtuoso and Amex FHR) for room upgrade queues, early check-in, and special on-property requests.

Do I still earn Jumeirah One points and tier status?

Yes. Stays booked under Passport to Luxury rates are considered direct bookings. You earn full Jumeirah One points, night credits, and tier advancement as normal, with Passport to Luxury amenities layered on top.

Can I apply Passport to Luxury perks to Jumeirah One Member Discount Rates?

No. Special loyalty member-only discounted rates booked through the Jumeirah One member portal do not include Passport to Luxury amenities. To receive the breakfast, USD 100–200 credits, upgrades, and airport transfers, the booking must be made under eligible Passport to Luxury rates.

Can Passport to Luxury amenities be combined with promotional offers?

Yes. Passport to Luxury perks frequently stack with official promotional campaigns, including complimentary night offers (such as "Stay 4, Pay 3" or "Stay 5, Pay 4"), seasonal advance-purchase rates, and curated resort packages.

How does the room upgrade policy work?

Upgrades are allocated within the same room tier (room-to-room, suite-to-suite, or villa-to-villa). Your reservation is prioritized ahead of regular direct and online bookings when rooms are allocated at arrival.
