One major advantage of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is its connection to Marriott Bonvoy. Unlike most luxury cruise lines, eligible Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection voyages allow Marriott Bonvoy members to earn points, earn Elite Night Credits and redeem existing Bonvoy points toward the cost of a voyage.
Booking through Clements Travel does not mean giving up your Marriott Bonvoy benefits. Clements Travel is a Marriott STARS agency, so we can add your Marriott Bonvoy number to your yacht reservation while also booking your voyage with the additional recognition and benefits available through Marriott STARS.

How many Marriott Bonvoy points do you earn on Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection?
Marriott Bonvoy members currently earn 5 base Bonvoy points for every USD $1 of eligible cruise fare paid in cash.
For example:
- $10,000 eligible cruise fare: 50,000 Bonvoy points
- $20,000 eligible cruise fare: 100,000 Bonvoy points
- $30,000 eligible cruise fare: 150,000 Bonvoy points
- $40,000 eligible cruise fare: 200,000 Bonvoy points
- $50,000 eligible cruise fare: 250,000 Bonvoy points
Marriott does not currently award the usual Elite percentage bonus on Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection cruise fare, so the earning rate is 5 base points per eligible dollar regardless of Bonvoy Elite tier.
If you pay using an eligible Marriott Bonvoy co-branded credit card, you may also earn additional credit card points according to your card's terms.
You can earn points on up to three suites that you pay for, provided you personally sail in one of those suites.
You also earn Marriott Bonvoy Elite Night Credits
Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection voyages can also help toward Marriott Bonvoy Elite status. You receive one Elite Night Credit for each night of your voyage, provided you personally pay for, sail on and complete the cruise.
An eight-night Ritz-Carlton yacht voyage, for example, can add eight Elite Night Credits to your Marriott Bonvoy account.
The eligible cash portion of your cruise fare can also count toward the annual qualifying spend requirement for Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite status.
Can you use Marriott Bonvoy points on The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection?
Yes. Marriott Bonvoy points can be redeemed directly against eligible Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection cruise fare.
The current redemption structure is:
- 180,000 Bonvoy points = $1,000 off
- 270,000 Bonvoy points = $1,500 off
- 360,000 Bonvoy points = $2,000 off
- 450,000 Bonvoy points = $2,500 off
- 540,000 Bonvoy points = $3,000 off
- 720,000 Bonvoy points = $4,000 off
- 900,000 Bonvoy points = $5,000 off
The first redemption requires a minimum of 180,000 points for $1,000 off. After that, points can be added in increments of 90,000 points for an additional $500 saving. Full redemption of the cruise fare using Bonvoy points may also be available, subject to the program rules and availability. Bonvoy points cannot be applied toward taxes, fees or port expenses.

You are not required to pay for the entire voyage with points. A partial redemption can be used to reduce the cruise fare while the remaining balance is paid normally.
Under the current rules, points can generally be applied to the cruise fare until 121 days before embarkation, when final payment is due.

We add your Marriott Bonvoy number to your yacht booking
When booking your Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection voyage with Clements Travel, send us your Marriott Bonvoy membership number and we can have it added to your reservation.
Marriott currently requires the correct Bonvoy number to be supplied at the time of purchase or no later than 30 days before embarkation for points and Elite Night Credits to post automatically.
After an eligible completed voyage, Marriott states that points and Elite Night Credits can take up to 14 days to appear in your Bonvoy account.
