Four Seasons has more than 60 hotels, resorts, and residences in development worldwide, including several openings that are already attracting serious attention.
Some are entering destinations where the brand has been notably absent. Others involve the restoration of landmark hotels. A few have the potential to become future flagship properties for the brand.
These are the future Four Seasons openings I would be paying attention to.

Expected Opening: 2027
Rooms & Suites: Approximately 200
Few hotel conversions have generated as much interest as Hotel Danieli joining Four Seasons.
For decades, Danieli has been one of Venice's most iconic addresses. The location is difficult to improve upon, sitting just steps from St. Mark's Square and overlooking the Venetian Lagoon.
The opportunity here is obvious. Four Seasons gets a legendary building in one of the world's most visited cities. Guests get Four Seasons service standards in a property that already has character, history, and one of the best locations in Venice.
For clients visiting Venice for the first time, this is likely to become one of the most desirable hotels in the city.

Expected Opening: 2025-2026
Rooms & Suites: Approximately 94 accommodations
Mykonos has plenty of luxury hotels, but surprisingly few global luxury brands.
Four Seasons will occupy a prime coastal position overlooking the Aegean and should appeal to travelers who want the energy of Mykonos combined with a full-service luxury resort experience.
Summer availability is likely to become challenging almost immediately.

Expected Opening: 2027
Rooms & Suites: Approximately 75
This is exactly the sort of hotel that fits naturally within the Four Seasons portfolio.
The Park Gstaad has been welcoming guests for over a century and remains one of the best-known hotels in the Swiss Alps. Rather than building something new, Four Seasons is taking over an already established luxury property in one of Europe's most exclusive mountain destinations.
Gstaad attracts skiers, second-home owners, and international travelers looking for a more understated alpine experience than St. Moritz or Courchevel.

Expected Opening: 2027
Rooms, Suites & Villas: Approximately 104
If I had to choose one opening that could surprise people, it would probably be this one.
Caye Chapel occupies its own private island off the coast of Belize, surrounded by the Belize Barrier Reef, the second-largest reef system in the world.
The plans include overwater bungalows, beachfront villas, a golf course, marina facilities, and extensive water sports.
For travelers who love destinations such as Bora Bora or the Maldives but would prefer something closer to North America, this could become one of the most sought-after resort openings in the Caribbean region.

Expected Opening: 2028
Rooms & Suites: Approximately 134
Four Seasons Deer Valley will form part of Deer Valley East Village, one of the largest ski resort developments currently underway in North America.
What makes this opening interesting is the combination of true ski-in/ski-out access, a brand-new village, and access to terrain that will eventually make Deer Valley one of the largest ski resorts in the United States.
For families, this is likely to become one of the most desirable new ski resorts in North America. Four Seasons tends to excel in destinations where ski logistics, equipment handling, dining reservations, and family services are an important part of the experience.
Christmas, New Year, Presidents' Day, and March school holiday periods are likely to book out well in advance, particularly for suites and residential accommodations.

Expected Opening: 2026
Rooms, Suites & Villas: Approximately 95
Unlike many Dominican Republic resorts, Tropicalia is located in Miches rather than Punta Cana.
That distinction is important.
The setting offers a more natural environment, longer stretches of undeveloped coastline, and a greater sense of privacy than many established Caribbean resort destinations.
The project is expected to include beachfront accommodations, private residences, multiple pools, extensive wellness facilities, and several restaurants.
For travelers seeking a Caribbean alternative to more familiar destinations, this is one worth watching.

Expected Opening: 2027
Rooms & Suites: Approximately 170
Saudi Arabia continues to invest heavily in luxury tourism, and Four Seasons is expanding alongside that growth.
Located on the Red Sea waterfront, the hotel will feature contemporary design, extensive wellness facilities, multiple dining venues, and private residences.
While many travelers are focused on projects such as NEOM and The Red Sea, Jeddah remains one of the country's most important commercial and cultural centers.

Expected Opening: 2029
Rooms & Suites: Approximately 200
Rio feels like a city that should already have a Four Seasons.
The hotel is planned for Leblon, arguably Rio's most desirable neighborhood, known for its beaches, restaurants, and residential character.
For travelers combining Rio with destinations such as Iguazu Falls, the Amazon, Patagonia, or Buenos Aires, this could become a natural starting point for a wider South American itinerary.

Expected Reopening: 2026
Rooms & Suites: Approximately 207
While technically not a new opening, the return of The Biltmore deserves a place on this list.
The resort has long been one of California's most celebrated luxury hotels and has a loyal following among Four Seasons guests.
The combination of Spanish Colonial architecture, beachfront access, mature gardens, and a location less than two hours from Los Angeles gives it a rare position within the California luxury hotel market.
Many Four Seasons regulars have been waiting years for this reopening.
As of July 2026, here is the complete list of all future openings.
