You will still get frequent flyer points from booking with us, in fact, we can sign your company up to different airline membership reward programs so you can get even more value in addition to your individual frequent flyer points.

Due to our affiliations with Travel Leaders, a company having offices based in the United States we also have a wide range of fares exclusive to and from the US market.

We can invoice in USD, EUR, and GBP - whatever is easiest for you.

Reports can be generated for you that break down spending, cost savings and we can even break down the spending by team or department.  Many CFO's in the sports industry have found this to be a great tool to analyze spending and forecast costs.

PLAYER COMFORT

It is no secret that one of the main contributors to player fatigue is due to the amount of traveling that they must undertake to get from tournament to tournament.  While there is no easy solution to combat this, we can help in eliminating everyday travel hassles which results in a happier player/team.

For example, we can allocate team seating together, preload passport data into the booking which makes for an easier check-in process, special meal requirements, arrange ground transfers to be waiting, and so on.  All these small things result in a more relaxed gamer.

In regard to hotels, as part of the service, we do our best to organize upgrades, amenities, and any other preferences (at no extra cost).

For players and staff who travel regularly, we keep an individual profile of their needs and preferences and frequent flyer numbers which are automatically applied to each booking.  

SAFETY AND SECURITY

We are available 24 hours, 7 days a week, every day of the year.  Our after-hours line will help you with travel disruptions affected by weather, strike, family emergencies, and even last-minute changes.  We do not outsource our after-hours department as many travel companies do.  This saves you for sitting on hold for long periods of time to airlines.

We subscribe to industry-leading crisis management services to ensure the safety of our clients comes first at all times. 

One example of how this has benefited my current sports clients is that during a tournament in January, we had a cyclone hit which resulted in multiple flight cancellations - I was able to run reports daily to brief the tournament management team and then rebook flights accordingly.  This saved a lot of time for the staff who were busy enough already.

Definitely not, we try to attend as many tournaments as possible and go backstage to meet management, teams, and other individuals. The aim of these meetings is to find out what the industry is looking for in terms of a travel solution. In turn, we can offer a customizable travel solution.  We also subscribe to many industry publications so our finger is always on the pulse.  We are now one of the biggest sports travel specialists in Europe and hope to extend this to other regions of the world soon.

Clements Travel is a small business, but clients feel this is an advantage as they get a high standard of personal service and accessibility. 

Because we don't have a board of directors, Vice Presidents, and so on, it means that we can make decisions on the spot.  For example, one of our clients wanted to switch most of their communications with us through to an instant messaging setup - we managed to make this happen the same day.  If that was a large corporate it would have taken countless meetings, zoom calls, and red tape to navigate.

It is natural to think that dealing with a small business that you will not get the pricing and protection that one may get with a large company.  However, that is not that case due to Clements Travel being a proud affiliate of Travel Leaders who is the sixth-largest business travel company in the United Kingdom and one of the biggest in the USA.

WE DON'T MAKE MANY TRAVEL BOOKINGS, WOULD YOU STILL WORK WITH US?

Sure we would.  We believe in long-term client relationships.  Many of our clients have been with us since startup. Travel is the second biggest spend for most companies after salaries, so it is important to have a solid travel policy right from the get-go.

DO YOU ONLY WORK WITH CLIENTS IN THE UK?

No, our affiliate company, Travel Leaders has an office in New York that allows us to service the American market.  We can invoice in GBP, EUR, and USD.  Our clients are based all over the world including, the USA, London, Copenhagen, Germany, and Melbourne.

 

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?

Officially, 9-6.  However, when a client has a big project on such a tournament then we can easily adjust our hours around their operation.

In saying this we are contactable 24-7 and our after-hours department is in house.

WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?

We charge a modest fee on flight bookings - but for this, you get a complete service that includes flight monitoring, cost center reporting, seat selection (where applicable) and you get to call/message us  (we pick up straight away) instead of sitting on hold to the airline for hours should you have any problems plus more.

We do not charge a fee for accommodation bookings.

Organizing visas and things like that will attract a fee but we will let you know of that in advance.

 

CAN WE STILL GET FREQUENT FLYER POINTS FROM BOOKING FLIGHTS THROUGH YOU?

Yes, you definitely can.  We will add this to your booking at the time of ticketing.  You will still earn status and get points.

DO YOU HAVE REFERENCES?

Yes, references are available from some of the 'big names' in the esports industry and they are available on request.
